Am I ready for 64-bit processor?
I live in a remote place…n recently my brother went out of town for some work n ive asked him to bring me an original copy of windows vista Home Premium but i forgot to mention 32-bit edition…and u know what happened…
My Specs:
-core2duo E4600@2.4Ghz
-3GB Ram
-XfXForce 9600GT@512mb
-Widescreen Monitor Resolutiom@1440X900
I do a lot of gaming…is it good for gaming…am i ready(my Pc)
if you want to upgrade on top of XP, without doing a clean install, then you will need 32 bit. If you have a way to back up your files and things, you’ll be fine with 64 bit. But like dude… right now, you can download a free year trial for Windows 7, which is a lot faster than Vista. I mean, you have to find the download (from a torrent site. Don’t worry, it’s legal) and then you get your key directly from microsoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/download.aspx
Vista 64 could be a hassle with some programs and old hardware, but I’ve never had problems myself with it.
